Let me get that out to you first and foremost. Without a list you simply will not make it and success will never be in your grasp.

Think about this.

Let’s say you are into dog training, and you spend 80+ hours writing an eBook on dog training, paid mega dollars for good graphics, but you never took time to build a list and as a result you have 120 people on your list.

How many eBooks do you think you will really sell honestly?

One, four, five…was it worth it? Graphics range usually $50-150 bucks! You would lose your tail in that!

Now, think of the same scenario except you have a list of 9,000 people.

Can imagine the sales from that? Even if you sold 75 copies at $20.00 bucks a pop, that’s $1,500.00, now that’s profit!

I hope I’m getting through to you about this and why it’s so critical.

Another key thing you will need to keep in mind when building your list, is keeping a good relationship with the customers on your “list.”

You won’t get any responses from anyone if you email them once in a blue moon, and certainly no one that they don’t know.

You want to get your list to know, like, and trust you.

I can’t stress enough on how important a relationship with your list is important!

Even if you don’t have a product ready for them yet, send them products through affiliate programs and earn you some cash along the way… anything to keep your list interested and remembering who you are when they see your email in their inbox.

Don’t bomb your list every single day with products, send them a hey how are you and make sure your customer from your list is happy with the product or services you have provided them.

Lists love free offers.

So don’t be scared to give away free content surrounding your niche. This is a huge benefit for customers being on your list.

Then not only are you providing them with the products you are selling them, but they also get an incentive to being a part of your list by receiving an informative and detailed freebie also.

List building is a very important factor to look at in any business, especially an online business, and customer relations being the key element to keep your customers informed and on their toes in knowing who you are and what your business is about.
