A squeeze page is a great way to attract and gain more subscribers for your mailing list.
Squeeze pages are a very popular in internet marketing especially.
A squeeze page is a one to two page website capturing reader’s names and email addresses. The best squeeze pages make a very powerful statement in or to produce a reaction in the reader.
You really only have one chance to get the reader to take action and request to get more products or free offers that you will be offering now and in the future.
I have found that the best types of squeeze pages are very short and follow a simple format.
These types of squeeze pages give a big eye catching headline, a powerful sub headline, list the benefits of becoming a subscriber and what the reader can be expecting when they sign up with you, a brief description of the free offer you will be offering the subscriber for signing up, and last but not least an attractive opt-in form.
You do not have to follow these squeeze pages to a “T.”
Although they do need to be similar but with your own style of formatting and preference of how you want the content of your page viewed.
Now if you don’t already have a site or if you have never created one, you may feel overwhelmed when it comes to building a site.
When you use the right tools and programs it’s really not that hard as long as you take one step at a time.
First and foremost before you can create a squeeze page you will need a domain name for your site.
A domain name is what you enter in the address bar at the top of your browser.
For example: www.myprivatelabelrights.com.
You will want your domain name to be related to the niche you are in.
For example, let’s say you are going to be creating products for training puppies, a good domain name to chose would be something like trainyourpuppy.com.
This simply makes it easier for Google to be able to index you where you need to be indexed in that niche and in turn making it easier for readers to find you.
I recommend using a dot com (.com).
When people are trying to remember a domain name, dot com is the first thing most people will likely associate with the name.
Some marketers also feel that dot com’s take a bigger priority when it comes to search engine results.
There are tons and tons of domain name companies where you can pick up your domain.
I recommend using NameCheap.com.
After you have purchased your domain name you will then need to find a hosting company.
Every site on the internet is saved on a computer somewhere waiting to be accessed by a viewer.
A hosting company will store your website and then deliver it to whoever requests it by typing in your domain name.
There are tons of hosting companies on the web today.
Prices vary and they also offer different tools so really it’s just finding the right hosting company that fits your business needs.
Here are just a couple and frequently used hosting companies that you can check out:
- Hostgator
- BlueHost
Now that you have your domain name and a hosting company you will need to connect the two together so that your domain name can be live.
The main thing you will need to make sure that is in place for everything to work and be live is your name servers.
This is what links the domain name to your web hosting.
Your name servers are provided to you by your web hosting company.
If you did not receive your name servers from your web hosting company you will need to contact them and get them from them…
You will need this for your domain name to become live and to link it with your hosting company.
After this process is through and your domain name is live… you are ready to start creating your squeeze page.
But before you can start creating your squeeze page you will need a HTML editor and if you are a beginner and you are not familiar with HTML, you will need an HTML editor with a visual editor.
A lot of marketers call this a “WYSIWYG”, which is short for “What You See Is What You Get” editor and is very similar to word processor.
You can find free HTML editors on the internet, however I myself don’t personally use a visual editor and they can become a bit confusing.
We personally use CuteFTP and if you are fluent in HTML code then this is the perfect HTML editor for you.
The best free HTML editor I have tried before is CoffeeCup HTML Editor.
However there are many HTML editor software tools out there that in the long run pay for themselves.
Here are a few HTML editors you might want to check out and like I said before is a must have in building a website if you are creating one on your own:
www.CoffeeCup.com
www.CuteFTP.com
www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver
With most HTML editors there will also be a FTP program.
This allows files and folders from your computer to be transferred over onto your server and can be made live.
This is also a must have tool when creating your squeeze page. CuteFTP provides an HTML editor as well as an FTP.
With Coffee Cup HTML Editor you will need to also download an FTP program such as FreeFTP which is a free FTP program.
After you have all of the tools above, you are now officially ready to start making your squeeze page.
You will need to get graphics for your squeeze page, which will be your template that you will be creating your squeeze page on.
You can go to the WarriorForum.com and go to a section called “warriors for hire” and find tons of designers offering packages for some killer prices.
It is important that you check out the graphic designers portfolio because graphics do mean a whole lot in how well your squeeze page converts for you.
You certainly don’t want a bunch of garbage that looks like a kindergartener drew it. You want your graphics to be clean, sleek, and professional.
You can go to Google and type in graphics designers and find all kinds of graphics designers and portfolios, so it’s really not that hard to find the right graphics designer that will work with you and get you exactly what you are looking for.
Here are just few graphics designers with portfolios that you might be interested in checking out when you go to order your graphics for your squeeze page.

I know it seems like a lot of steps to go through, but it really is simple and easy to learn how to do and once you have all the tools you need to make your squeeze page, you’ll have your site up and running in no time at all.
